Join us at this FREE event with Richard Schleuning, Senior Director of ZEISS, Tom Cubby and Joseph Schimizzi from Sony.
Richard will demo the features of ZEISS Supreme Prime Radiance lenses, as a seven-lens set: 21 mm, 25 mm, 29 mm, 35 mm, 50 mm, 85 mm and 100 mm – all T1.5.
We welcome SMTPE members and all attendees to join us at 6:00pm, our presenters will demo their equipment from 6:30pm - 8:00pm and will be available for questions. ZEISS wil discuss about how and why they designed their new Radience lenses, how they work, and how they help the creative process. Sony will share the features of the Sony FX9 6K Full Frame Digital Cinema Camera and additional equipment.
ZEISS Supreme Prime Radiance lenses enable cinematographers to create beautiful, consistent and controlled flares in the image while maintaining contrast and avoiding transmission loss. Yet, they offer all attributes of a modern cinema lens: large-format coverage, high speed, robustness and smooth and reliable focus – all in a small, light-weight package.

About Joseph Schimizzi
Joseph Schimizzi has been in the broadcast industry for the past 27 years. He has been with Sony for 12 years. Ten of those years were spent as an engineer covering nearly all Sony professional and broadcast products. For the last two years his role has evolved into a hybrid engineer-account manager covering all Sony’s Broadcast products. Joseph has a young daughter and loving wife that are his entire world.
