Inside Sales Position
For the past 30 years, Talamas Broadcast Equipment has provided professional audio and video services to a variety of companies and clients. We offer audio/video equipment rentals and sales and specialize in high definition video production and the integration of audio and video applications. This is an inside sales position with possible very light travel within the New England area. We are looking for a candidate that has an intense interest in the field of audio and video.
In this position, you will be selling wireless and wired microphone systems, communication equipment, recorders, mixers, specialty microphones, teleprompters and a large line of high end professional audio and video products found in Broadcast, Theater, and Production applications. You will be attending trade shows and will be an active participant in company seminars. You will be actively following up on generated leads and inquiries.
This position is challenging, interesting and rewarding. Product training will be available. You will gain valuable product knowledge from within our organization as well as direct with the manufacturers' product specialists. A few of our product lines include Lectrosonics, Sennheiser, Telex/RTS, DPA, Autoscript, Sachtler, Sound Devices.
Skills and Requirements:
- Experience and or Knowledge related to Professional Audio and Video Products
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, technical understanding of products
- Strong numbers skills
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Able to Keep up with industry trends and developments through relevant publications and training sessions in order to meet customer requests.
- Excellent people skills
- Minimum 2 years experience in the field of sales
