out-of-the-box. However, headsets are not included.

The Telex Legacy™ series is a complete, portable
wireless intercom system. A full duplex (simultaneous
talk and listen), multi-channel wireless intercom
system, the Telex Legacy™ system offers a complete
solution for 2 to 14 users, fast and easy set-up, durable
beltpacks and 64
bit audio encryption. Legacy allows for customization
through your choice of headphones - single or double
sided, swivel or omni-flex boom mic, 8, 15 or 21+ dB
noise canceling. Offering a standard 3 year warranty,
Telex Legacy™ operates
utilizing the FCC license free IEEE 802.11b “WiFi”
standard.
The system is voice encrypted so no one can listen
in - even if the other team is also using a Legacy
system!
The Telex Legacy™ wireless intercom system incorporates
the option of three audio channels that are selectable
at each XO-1
beltpack. The XO-1 beltpacks also provide the user
independent volume control and headset microphone level
control. The XO-
1 built in Lithium Ion rechargeable battery packs that
will provide up to 8 hours of uninterrupted operation.
The XO-AP base station automatically selects the RF
(radio frequency) channel for communication with a
feature called
ClearScan™. ClearScan™ is initiated at power up and
automatically scans and sets the Telex Legacy™ base
station to the
best and clearest RF channel (1 – 11) for operation.
The XO-AP provides a central relay location which
routes the audio traffic
between the XO-1 beltpacks. The base station also uses
an internal rechargeable Lithium Ion battery that will
provide up to 10
hours of uninterrupted operation or can be operated
with the included wall mount AC power supply.
